Today, I enjoyed an easier day. I realized that I have been pushing myself pretty hard lately and decided it was time for a reward! So, after my circuit today, I came home and got cleaned up and headed out for a bit of retail therapy. I wanted to run in Michael’s and A.C. Moore and check out their bead selections. I have gotten into making beaded necklaces and bracelets lately, so this was fun. I ended up making several necklaces and bracelets today. My friend, Sarah, is going to show me how to do earrings this weekend. (I’m psyched!) Now, I don’t have any book knowledge or other knowledge on how to do this. I just kind of grab pretty beads and put them together and see what works. So far, it’s been successful.
Anyways, in diabetes world things are still going well. My blood sugars are staying consistently low. My exercise routine is well-ingrained and I am sticking to the circuit training schedule. I haven’t done too many classes or walks this week because I overdid it a bit this weekend, but I am not slacking either. I am giving my body a chance to rest up a little. I will resume my crazy training schedule next week. After all, measurement/weigh-in day is coming up and I want to push things so I can see more results.
Well, that’s about it here. I am going to sign out so I can go read and enjoy my day of relaxation
