Well, I have to admit, the past couple days have been filled with quite a bit of pain!! My poor legs have been killing me. The muscles you use to sit down got worked so hard that it hurt to sit down! So, it’s been a few days filled with Advil and any thing else to relieve pain…BioFreeze!! I also was a hardhead and kept going to the gym. I just couldn’t stop myself. I knew I was hurting but I thought if I kept moving it would help to ease the pain. Thursday was the most intense pain. I even asked one of the trainers at the gym if I should even be there! But I wanted to be there…so I worked arms (since they weren’t hurting) and did a yoga class. I also started BioFreeze and had a nice long soak in the tub too. When I woke up this morning, my muscles were stiff but the pain was more tolerable.
I was so antsy to get into the gym today. I couldn’t stand the fact that I had to wait so long to go in! It drove me a bit batty!! I finally gave up and went in a bit early anyways so I could do a little bit of cardio before the workout! I got about 20 minutes on the treadmill before my workout started. I made it all the way through the 4 sets of my exercises without puking (or peeing…I upped my water intake and have been peeing like crazy!) But it’s all good. It was another tough intense workout, but the reward is so going to be worth it!! We had lots of fun (hard to believe I am saying that, but it’s true) and I got a great workout. Tye is doing such a great job with this. I am working harder on the changes that they wanted to make in my nutrition. I gave up bacon and sausage. I occasionally have a protein shake now to increase my protein intake. I am trying to choose better carb options. This whole experience is going great so far. I am really happy to have gotten someone who gets me. He’s kicking my butt and I am loving every minute of it. I think he’s having fun too!
I am hoping not to be as sore in the morning or on Sunday. But we’ll see. As long as I can move in the morning, I am going to the gym to get in some cardio. Then Monday will be fitness coaching and maybe a class or something. We’ll see!
As for measurements, we did a new round on Tuesday. They weren’t stellar results, but here’s what we had…1/4 inch from my neck, 1/2 inch from my waist, 1/2 inch from my hips, and 1/4 inch from my calf. So, another 1 1/2 inches makes a total of 13 3/4 inches since beginning the gym (Butterfly Life).
